I bought my Daytona C/S one year ago when I was 15 for $1500. It had 168,000 miles on it and was taken care of very well. The body was in perfect shape and the engine and front-end needed a little work. I have since then put all my time and money in the car.
Mods: Since I bought the car I have totally redid the front-end including KYB struts and high performance brakes. I also put new bearings, brakes, and KYB shocks in the rear. About 1300 miles ago I put a new engine that had been bored .040 in it along with a rebuilt trans. and turbo. For the ignition I used a Accel Super Stock coil along with a MSD 6A ignition control box. I also added a K&N air filter and ram air. I also buffed the valve cover and painted many things red. I am running 225/55/15 tires that are 9" wide in front and 8 1/2" in the rear.
Since the car already has all leather interior and power everything I have only added a Pioneer CD player, Eclipse 5x7's, Eclipse 5 1/4's, a 400 Watt amp and two 12" RF Subs. The only outside mods have been headlight covers. I hope to add a MP Computer, Dynomax exhaust, and new wheels and tires soon.
